Maui Market Update May 2022
The Maui real estate market showed signs of change as total sales and median prices for
all property types declined last month on the back of April’s record activity. Single-family
homes and condos were available on the market longer this month compared to last, with
an increase of 10 and seven days respectively. While nearly one in every three properties
sold for above asking price, a 26% increase in new listings for single-family homes is a
welcomed sign for Maui’s inventory-constrained market.
